Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies

Our Equine Specialists are trained by PATH Intl (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International)

Equine-Assisted Activities (EAAs) and Equine-Assisted Therapy (EATs):  we offer many animal-assisted activities and therapies that include our equine teams.  We work with local health professionals who incorporate equine-assisted therapies into their treatment plans.

If you are a health or educational professional, we offer consultation with one of our volunteers and health professionals to discuss whether EAAs or EATs may be appropriate for your client or student’s needs.

We also offer non-treatment related equine assisted activities.

Examples of these services include:

Equine assisted activities to support educational goals.

Sessions with an equine team to support ADHD and other behavioral health treatment plans.

Sessions with an equine team to support PTSD, Anxiety disorders and other behavioral health treatment plans.

Sessions to support any behavioral health or educational treatment plan.

*Please note: some equine services are only provided with a referral from a health professional. If you feel this may be something you could benefit from, ask your provider if it is right for you before contacting us.

As a reminder, animal assisted interventions are meant to support treatment plans and not used in lieu of behavioral health or educational treatments/programs.
